98 Ticker is a place for comic collectors and sellers to track a collection and sell to each other with no commission. You get inventory and watch-list tools, floor prices on key issues, a Marketplace, member pages with feedback, and a forum. It is free to join.

Yes. A Free account includes collection tracking, the watch list, browsing and buying, offers and messaging, shipping hand-off, feedback, and up to 3 active Marketplace listings. Pro ($9.99 a month or $99 a year, with a 7-day free trial) adds unlimited listings, storefront styling, alerts, lots, consignment and exports.

No. 98 Ticker is its own marketplace. Floor prices come from public Buy-It-Now asking prices that we review, but you never need an eBay account.

No. ID verification ($4.99, one time) is optional. It gives you a Verified badge and lets you post in the forum. You can list, buy, make offers, and message without it.

To list, make offers, or message, other members need a way to reach you, so those actions require a verified email address. You can add and verify one in Settings. It is also how password resets and alerts reach you.

On the log-in window choose Forgot your password?, enter your username, and we will email a 6-digit code to your verified address. If your account has no verified email, write to support@98ticker.com.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.

The floor price is the lowest current Buy-It-Now asking price we have found for a key issue at a given grade. It is what you could buy one for today, not what one sold for. We review the listings and update prices on a schedule (usually daily), so it is not a live feed.

A growing list of key issues we maintain. For any other book you can add it to your collection yourself and enter your own price, and you still get gain and loss tracking.

Yes. The Watch List is for books you want. Your Inventory is for books you own, with what you paid and when.

Yes. You can track graded books across the common grading scale and raw (ungraded) books. Each grade and each variant, such as a newsstand or a Canadian price variant, is tracked as its own entry.

Enter what you paid and when. 98 Ticker compares that to the current floor price to show unrealized gain or loss, and records the realized result when you mark a book sold.

Members upload them. Covers are cropped and resized when uploaded, and the community can flag a wrong one. Only upload images you have the right to share.

There is no commission and no final value fee. Free accounts can have 3 active listings; Pro is unlimited. Buyers pay you directly, so any fee charged by the payment method you both choose is between you and that provider. Optional promoted listings are $1.99 for 7 days.

1. You list a book from your Inventory.
2. A buyer makes an offer or messages you. Offers can be countered, accepted, or declined, and expire after 24 hours.
3. When you accept, the buyer adds their shipping address in the app.
4. You ship, then add the carrier and tracking number.
5. The buyer confirms it arrived, and you both can leave feedback.

Directly from the buyer, by a method the two of you agree on. 98 Ticker does not process payments or hold money. Do not ship until you are satisfied the payment is final, and choose methods that suit you for protection against chargebacks.

No. 98 Ticker is the venue, not a party to your deal. We give you sealed two-way feedback, optional ID-verified badges, blocking, reporting, and a Report a problem button on every shipment, but we cannot decide who owes what or issue refunds. Read the Marketplace terms.

Comic books and closely related collectibles that you own and are allowed to sell. Describe grade, grader, certification number, restoration and defects honestly. Counterfeit or tampered slabs and labels, stolen items, and anything illegal to sell or ship are not allowed. The full list is in the Terms.

Yes. Say plainly that it is seller-graded, describe condition and defects, and add clear photos of the actual copy.

For $1.99 you can feature one listing for 7 days at the top of Browse. It is open to Free and Pro members and is never required to sell. It is non-refundable once started.

Each listing says whether you ship to the US only, the US and Canada, or worldwide. For international orders, customs forms, duties and import rules are the seller and buyer responsibility, and insured, signature-confirmed shipping is strongly recommended.

Yes, for raw (ungraded) copies in the same condition. Keep them in your Inventory as one stack (enter how many you have and what you paid for ONE copy), then list them. On Free you list one copy per listing. Pro lets you put several copies in a single listing with a "copies available" count: buyers choose how many they want, and the listing closes when the last copy sells. When you list more than one copy you confirm that all of them match the condition you describe.

Graded slabs are always listed one at a time: each has its own certification number, and a certification number can only be on one live listing at a time.

In your Inventory, choose Record sale on the book. Enter how many copies sold, the price, the date, where it sold (eBay, a show, in person or elsewhere), and any selling costs. The copies leave your holdings, so your Dashboard totals stay right, and the sale appears in the Sales Ledger on the Sold tab with your profit. If you made a mistake, Undo puts the copies back.

Sales made on 98 Ticker are added to the ledger automatically. What you paid for a book is private: other members never see it.

Every listing has an item number. Quote it in messages and in support requests so everyone is talking about the same book. You can also type it into the Browse search box.

Open a listing and tap Make offer. The seller can accept, counter or decline. Offers expire after 24 hours. You can also message the seller with questions first.

Check the seller's member page: feedback score, Verified badge and how long they have been a member. Ask questions in messages, look at the photos, confirm grade and certification number, and pay by a method that offers buyer protection. Never pay anyone outside the arrangements you agreed in the app, and report anything that feels wrong.

You add it for one sale. Only that seller can see it. It is stored encrypted, never put in an alert or email, and deleted 30 days after the shipment finishes. See the Privacy Policy.

Message the seller first and keep the tracking number. Use Report a problem on the shipment so we know. If the package was insured, the insurance claim is made by the shipper. We cannot refund or award money, but we can act on conduct that breaks the rules.

No. On the seller's ship screen there are free links to USPS Click-N-Ship and Pirate Ship. You pay the carrier or service directly, then paste the tracking number into the app so the buyer is alerted. 98 Ticker is not affiliated with either and never sees the payment.

For sales of $100 or more we recommend rigid packaging, insurance for the sale price, and signature confirmation. The seller ticks what they did and the buyer sees it as seller-reported. We cannot verify it.

The buyer picks a country the listing ships to and must give a phone number, which carriers and customs often require. The seller sees a customs reminder. Buyers should expect longer delivery and possible import charges.

After the buyer confirms delivery, buyer and seller each rate the other positive or negative, with optional reason tags and a short comment. Ratings stay sealed until you have both submitted, or 14 days after delivery, whichever comes first. Then they appear on each member's public page. You can reply to feedback you receive once, and report feedback that breaks the rules.

So nobody can retaliate, or be pressured into a better rating, after seeing what the other person wrote. While sealed, you can still edit your own rating.

It is the share of positive ratings and how many ratings the member has. With fewer than three ratings we show plain counts instead of a percentage, because one rating is not a track record.

Only by us, after the person being rated reports it, and only for things like retaliation, personal information, abuse, or a rating that has nothing to do with the sale. The person who wrote it is told why and can reply to appeal.

The member sent a government ID image that we reviewed by hand. It means we checked that the person is real. It is not a guarantee about how they will behave in a deal.

Use Report on a listing or conversation, Block to stop someone contacting you, and Report a problem on a shipment. Your report starts a thread in Settings → Support where we can reply to you.

Members can read. ID-verified members can post, reply and vote.

Points for taking part: posts, replies, upvotes you receive, daily log-ins and streaks, getting verified, and referrals. It has no cash value. Each month the top five Cred earners win Pro discounts, applied by us at our discretion.

Verified members get a personal link in Settings. You earn Cred when someone you invite signs up, gets verified, and goes Pro, up to a monthly cap. Self-referrals and abuse are not rewarded.

Unlimited Marketplace listings, storefront styling (banner, About, shipping and returns, featured listings), price alerts and the weekly floor report, the lot builder, consignment tools, portfolio, insurance and tax export, a Pro badge, and priority want/have matching.

New Pro subscribers get 7 days free. You are charged only if you do not cancel before the trial ends. Then Pro renews automatically every month or year at the price shown until you cancel.

Online, any time: Settings → Manage subscription. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep Pro until then.

Subscription payments are non-refundable and not prorated when you cancel, except where the law requires otherwise. Promoted listings and ID verification are non-refundable once started or submitted.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card on Stripe's page. 98 Ticker never sees or stores your card number.

Yes, in Settings. Stripe adjusts the charge for the time already used.

Only what we need to run your account and the Marketplace. The Privacy Policy lists everything in plain language, including who can see what.

Go to Settings → Delete account and confirm with your password. The deletion runs 7 days later and you can cancel any time before then. It cannot go ahead while a sale or shipment is still in progress. Your profile, collection, listings, watch list and shipping addresses are deleted and any Pro subscription is cancelled (no refund). Feedback, messages and forum posts stay without your name, as “Deleted member”, and your username is retired. Details are in the Privacy Policy. You can also email support@98ticker.com from your account’s address.

98 Ticker is run by LoveLee Media Group, LLC, founded by a comic seller with more than 20 years on eBay who wanted a marketplace without the fees.
